One of my favorite Thanksgiving season things is the abundance of pumpkin. You could cook so many delicious things with it: soups, pastas and, of course, pumpkin pie.

Classic Pumpkin Pie recipe

Ingredients
1 pie crust
3 eggs
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 (15 oz) can pumpkin pure pumpkin
1/2 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
Heat oven to 350F.
In a large bowl mix eggs, brown sugar, pumpkin, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, maple syrup, 1/4 cup heavy cream and salt until smooth.
Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust and send to oven for 60-65 min.
Remove pie from the oven and cool down to room temperature.
Serve with whipped cream on top (optional).
