This is a quick fix for a breakfast or brunch. My kids love it, and it’s just perfect for the Fall and Apple picking season! It takes only 15 min to prepare this warm nutritious meal.
The original French toast is always better with Brioche bread, but if you thrive to eat healthier or on a strict diet, substitute for multigrain bread (like I do sometimes). It comes out delicious too. And guilt-free!

quick fix for a breakfast or brunch. Kids favorite with a hint of France. Perfect recipe for Fall and Apple Picking Season!
Dip brioche bread or bans into the egg and milk mixture.
Heat a non-stick pan, add butter and cook until butter is fully melt.
Take soaked bread and add to the pan.
Cook your toasts 2-3 minutes per side. Remove toasts to a plate (use paper towels to remove excess oil).
In the same non-stick pan cook 3 strips of bacon 2-3 min per side on high, remove to a plate, let them cool a bit and break into crumbles.
Put apples, sugar and maple syrup into a microwave safe dish and cook until apples are soft (approximately 3-4 minutes). Alternatively you can saute them in a pan too.
